News: Inzy bats for Younus

Pakistani all-rounder Shahid Afridi has been impressive with his form in the recent past match especially from the time he has been given the opportunity to lead the Twenty20 side of the nation. And his performance has impressed former captain Inzamam-ul-Haq who expressed his desire to see Afridi as the ODI captain too.

"I think after becoming Twenty20 captain, Shahid has shown that he has become more mature and responsible as a player also," Inzamam said.

Inzamam also criticised the present ODI skipper Younus Khan saying that he is struggling for runs which does not indicate a good future. He added that Younus should be appointed as Test captain by the board so that "He is under pressure and unless the captain is contributing as a player, it adds to the pressure on the other members of the team," said Inzamam.
