News: MS Dhoni partners CricDude

Mahendra Singh Dhoni has joined hands with CricDude to help promote his online presence in the cyber world. This agreement has been reached so as to prevent any gross misuse of the brand name “Dhoni”.

Thereafter, CricDude will have the exclusive rights to operate the profile page of Dhoni on the social networking sites and enter blog entries using his name.

The main part of the agreement carries the following excerpts:

"It has come to my notice that certain unscrupulous elements have been misusing my name by operating profiles in social networking websites, blogs etc. under my name without my authorization.

(…)with view to ensure that my name is not misused in the future, I hereby confer the exclusive right/authority to www.cricdude.com to post entries, operate the profile page on social networking websites and post entries in blogs under my name.

I further request www.facebook.com, www.orkut.com and other social media and websites to removes the profile and information presently being operated under my name.”

The CricDude family would like to convey its birthday wishes to the Indian skipper Dhoni on turning 28.
