Former CEO Tim Wright sues Deccan Chargers
More than a year after parting ways with the Deccan Chargers, the IPL franchise's former CEO Tim Wright has filed a 10 million pound lawsuit against it, alleging breach of contract.
According to a report in 'The Daily Telegraph', the lawsuit also "accuses Deccan of illegal payments to an unnamed player which broke the IPL's salary cap rules. read More..

Sachin hints of leaving Mumbai Indians for Pune in the IPL
Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar hinted here on Friday that he would love to play for the Pune Sahara cricket team in the next Indian Premier League (IPL) IV season instead of Mumbai Indians though he had not yet taken a decision on this issue.
Speaking at a foundation stone-laying of the Lata Mangeshkar hospital in the presence of the other great Indian, singer Lata Mangeshkar, Tendulkar commented on the defeat of India in the recently concluded World Cup 20-20 matches under the captaincy of Mahendra Singh Dhoni with allegations that the Indian team lost due to its late-night partying spree. read More..

Suspended IPL chief replies to corruption charges
Suspended Indian Premier League chief Lalit Modi's official response to the corruption allegations against him was delivered in six large boxes to the Board of Control for Cricket in India.
Modi's lawyer delivered the thousands of pages of documents late Saturday, meeting a deadline which had been extended by five days. read More..
