Hurst harsh on Kotla pitch in his report

The humiliation brought in by the Kotla pitch in the Capital does not seem enough as the official pitch report submitted to the ICC by the Match Referee Alan Hurst classified the pitch as “unfit”, as reported by an Indian newspaper.

Tough sanctions await Delhi, indicates Lorgat

The ICC CEO Haroon Lorgat has reacted sharply to the Feroz Shah Kotla pitch fiasco that happened on Sunday resulting in the abandonment of the fifth ODI between India and Sri Lanka and has warned Delhi of strict sanctions if the need arises. Lorgat who was in the Capital on Monday, though refused to speculate over the possible outcomes but said that a notice has already been issued to the BCCI demanding an explanation for the unfortunate incident. read More..

DDCA pitch committee resigns, Chauhan says SL “chickened out”

After the BCCI disbanded the Grounds and Pitch committee, it was the DDCA pitch and ground committee’s turn to resign owing moral responsibility for the pitch fiasco at the Ferozshah Kotla ground which led to the abandonment of the match between India and Sri Lanka on Sunday.

"At a meeting of senior officials of DDCA, the chairman and members of pitch and ground committee of DDCA including the curator resigned owing moral responsibility after the abandonment of the India Sri Lanka ODI," read a statement from DDCA secretary S P Bansal. read More..
